XT clicking popping noise when turning. So lately I'm getting a pretty persistent and loud popping noise when the wheel is turned near full lock. It appears that there is a known problem with one A/C compressor part number used on some Subarus in model years 2014 - 2016. For a couple weeks I had been hearing a “moaning” whenever the compressor’s clutch engaged (rather than just the usual “Click--Whirr”.
